• Double incisors, which continuously grow at a rapid pace. • Pointed rodent ears. • Soft and warm brown fur. • Clawed hands and feet. Toes are webbed. • Beaver-like lower legs, feet, and tail (roughly 5 feet long). • Stands at 4'10" comfortably, but he can stand on tip-toes to reach 5'5".
Psychological changes
• Compulsion to be social and productive; he will develop anxious/restless energy if needs aren't met. • Compulsion to build progressively complex lodges and dams; constantly needing to challenge his skills. • Unable to sleep restfully unless with companionship or within his constructions (ideally both). • Prefers primarily vegetarian (and bone) diet; he can still digest meat, but it takes a lot less to feel like a "heavy" meal. Constant need to cronch.
Capability changes
• Powerful olfactory senses. • Can track people or objects through scent. • Has castor glands... • ...which means he smells like a combination of vanilla and leather.
Occupation: Tattoo artist, owner of Neon Beach; recurring reality television star
Past connections: Emelie Hanterare (The Handler) - provides her part-time fashion modeling Kazuichi Souda - mechanic for Larry's Geting Barbra Lagerfelt (Ima Wiggles) - recent lover (pink camellia - left deltoid, still healing!), uses her as a model for practicing larger babes Nostriano Forba Etu (Nos-4-a2) - repeat client Virgil - lover (apple blossom - underside of left forearm) Faith Less - television producer that got him his spot on Ink Wars Solido Naso (Doppio) - client
AU History: Larry is the youngest of 11 sisters, and for most of his life, was an unremarkable, oft-unnoticed software programmer developing more user-friendly programming languages out of assembly code. Then, at the tender young age of 36, he developed a libido out of nowhere, and as a shy dork he only found release in drawing naked ladies on his notes. His productivity declined and his boss found his lewd drawings, and overnight he found himself jobless, homeless, and penniless.
Thrust without warning into the culture of Bavan's streets, much of the shy, introverted person he used to be no longer exists. He's still kind, gentle, and soft-spoken, but holds his ground against aggressors and asserts his opinions. He managed to survive out of a tent and eat from dumpsters, avoiding a grisly death to wayward monsters in the process. Even though this lifestyle sounds rough, he was quite content because it meant that he could focus most of his waking hours on where his brain wanted to be: studying and drawing the human (and sometimes monster) form. Eventually he realized that he could make some money for pre-dumpster food by permanently affixing his drawings to peoples' skin, and the rest is history.
He didn't start seeing true success until Faith Less scouted him for competitor talent on the new reality television series, Ink Wars, when he was 38. Under the impression that he would be unpopular due to his dweeby, unassuming, and friendly appearance compared to the other competitors, Faith instructed him to play the role of a villain/instigator. He was more than fine with it, because it meant that he had a paycheck to start his own studio when the season was over, even though he knew he wasn't going to win in the end. His appearance made the greatest changes while (and due to the) filming of Ink Wars: his piercings, clothing, and tattoo sleeves that he adds a flower to whenever he has sex with someone new to commemorate the occasion.
Unexpectedly, Larry actually became one of the fan favorites, for every reason that wasn't the character-acting that he was told to do. When Ink Wars All-Stars was announced, fans demanded he be brought back on for the show that was going to be more about actual skill challenges and less about the drama. Wowing the judges with how much he'd improved since the last time he was on Ink Wars, he ended up winning the season - but not without fierce competition! He dropped his winnings into his studio and continues to live at his shop, even though he very well could afford an actual house on the outskirts of Bavan. After all, that would mean he would have to commute, and he'd much rather spend that time drawing!
He continues to show up as a guest judge on pin-up special challenges in subsequent seasons of Ink Wars and Ink Wars All-Stars.
